Rajasthan Cultural and Heritage Tour

Day: 1 Delhi
Upon arrival International airport company representative meet and assist you transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day: 2 Delhi
After heavy breakfast at hotel proceed to sight seeing tour of New & Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in Asia), Red Fort (built between 1639-48 by the Shah Jahan, the creator of the Taj Mahal), the Rajghat (the cremation site of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi) and Qutab Minar (72m high), the most perfect of towers of the Persian world. After lunch proceed to visit India Gate, Birla Temple, Connaught Place and past Safdarjang's Tomb. Evening transfer to railway station to board train for Bikaner overnight at train.

Day: 3 Bikaner Morning arrive Bikaner & transfer to prebooked hotel for relax. After lunch proceed to visit Junagarh Fort built in 1589-1594 by Raja Rai Singh, one of the trusted Rajput generals of Akbar. Later visit Lalgarh Palace magnificent fort made by red sandstone. Later visit Bhandeshwar Jain Temples Beautiful 16th century Jain temples, dedicated to the 23rd Tirthankar Parshvanathji. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 4 Bikaner – Jaisalmer
Today drive to Jaisalmer, the land of the Thar Desert - Jaisalmer is one of the India's most precious jewels. Fortified in golden stone, it rises like a mirage from the barren Thar desert of Rajasthan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later visit Sam Village for sand dunes. Enjoy a short camel ride at sand dunes followed by an evening dinner with Kalbeliya dancers performing the native folk dances. Overnight at Hotel.

Day: 5 Jaisalmer
After breakfast visiting Jaisalmer Fort -- an awesome figure rising above the city and overlooking the vast expanse of desert. Jaisalmer fort was built in 1156 & is the second oldest fort in Rajasthan. It is also called the living fort with people still living inside the fort. Later take a walk through the narrow streets and visit the famous havelis (mansions) of Jaisalmer. Some of them being Nathmalji-ki-Haveli , Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli – this 300 years old Haveli is famous for many ancient artifacts and excellent latticework on the walls. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 6 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur- The second largest city of Rajasthan, on the edge of the great Thar Desert. Arrive Jodhpur check in at hotel later proceed to visit Mehrangarh Fort founded in 15th century by the Rathore Rajputs when they shifted their capital from nearby Mandore to Jodhpur. Later visit Jaswant Thada - located half way up the interminably
long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. In the afternoon take a village Safari to Bishnoi village and marvel at their life full of a ode of conduct which is in communion with nature. In the evening visit Umaid Bhawan Palace- world’s largest private residence & its museum – Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 7 Jodhpur – Udaipur
After breakfast drive to “Lake City” of India. Enroute visit Kumbhalgarh stands on the site of an ancient citadel dating back to the second century AD belonging to a Jain descendant of India's Maurya emperors. Proceed to visit Haldighati The scene of the famous battle off 1576 AD fought between Rana Pratap-the heroic son of Udai Singh and the massive forces of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Later visit Kumbhalgarh Fort Built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha. Later visit Famous Jain Temples of Ranakpur .Evening drive to Udaipur for Overnight stay.

Day: 8 Udaipur
After leisurely breakfast sightseeing tour of beautiful Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens this small garden made for the queens and the maids, has many fountains and other important figures. Visit The Jagdish Temple this Indo-Aryan Temple made by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 AD, is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur, with many intricately sculpted idols displaying the fine Indo-Aryan architecture. Finally visit the Pratap Museum The museum houses the old sculptures and inscriptions. One can see the antique paintings of Dewar and the turban worn by prince Khurram (Emperor Shahajahan) on display, which was gifted to Maharana Khazan Singh by Shahjahan.Evening enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola in Udaipur. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 9 Udaipur – Pachewargarh
After breakfast drive to Pachewargarh is also famous for rural tourism in India. Later proceed to visit Pachewar Fort is great heritage piece to explore. With Indo-European style, Pachewar Garh is a well maintained fort massive ramparts, imposing gates, intricate balconies and spacious apartments. This will be the first time you will be exploring to a heritage hotel, so take a full pleasure in scrutnizing this place. You will feel like a King. The services and hospitality of these hotels are just impeccable. Later visit Pachewar village, there are number of small and big attractions which beautifies it. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 10 Pachewargarh – Jaipur
After breakfast drive to “Pink City” of India. Arrive Jaipur check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit City Palace - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. Later visit Hawa Mahal - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Evening have fun at Chokhi Dhani - meaning the "Fine Hamlet" is a 5 star Ethenic resort, the only one of its kind in the country. Enjoy Puppet Show- The colorful Puppet Show transports you into the world of valiant Kings, beautiful princesses and all powerful magicians. & at last dinner with rajathani
folk show. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 11 Jaipur – Bharatpur
After breakfast check out and drive for Bharatpur which is also known as 'Keoladeo National Park'. In winters it plays host to over 400 bird species including the world-famous Siberian Cranes. Colonies of cormorants, spoonbills, storks, egrets, herons, pelicans, ibis and grey herons can be spotted all over the park. Check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon take a rickshaw ride into the park and enjoy bird watching with a naturalist. Overnight at the hotel

Day: 12 Bharatpur
After breakfast proceed to visit bird sanctuary with naturalist. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 13 Bharatpur – Agra
After breakfast drive to “Taj City” of India. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri the deserted city which built by the Third Mughal ruler “Akbar " and remained as capital from 1570 until 1585 and due to the water shortage the Mughal ruler Akbar was compelled to shift his capital from Fathepur Sikri to Agra. Later drive to Agra for overnight stay.
Day: 14 Agra - Varanasi
Early morning visit world famous “Taj Mahal” in sunrise time. Later come back hotel after breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque and the Hall of Public and Private Audience.Visit Itmad-up-Dau’s tomb, built by Noorjehan in memory of her father. Evening transfer to railway station to board train for Varanasi. Overnight at train.

Day: 15 Varanasi
Arrive Varanasi check in at hotel for relax. After lunch visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon & attend the evening Aarti on the banks of Ganga. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day: 16 Varanasi
Early morning visit to Daswamedh Ghat & enjoy boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats in river bank & cremation site this is witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later sightseeing tour Banaras Hindu University, Bharat Mata Mandir, the Vishwanath temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day: 17 Varanasi – Delhi
After breakfast at hotel transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi wash & change at hotel. Later transfer to airport to board flight to onward destination.

Jaipur Cultural Tourism

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

On your arrival at Delhi international airport, you will meet our representatives. They will provide you with all the assistance at the airport and take you to the hotel. Over Night stay will be at the Delhi hotel.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing

The morning will start with a sightseeing tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. You will be exploring Qutub Minar, India Gate and some picturesque government buildings - Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s Residence), Lal Quila (Red Fort) and Rajghat (Mahatma Gandhi memorial). Also in the offing, will be a visit to the famous Laxmi Narayan Mandir (temple), popularly known as Birla Mandir. Evening will be for relaxing, followed by a good night’s sleep in the hotel rooms.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra

Early morning, you will leave for Agra, the city of Taj. First thing on arrival, will be checking into the hotel. Afternoon will be reserved for visiting the Red fort. Later, you will enjoy the beauty of the magnificent Taj Mahal at the time of sunset. In the late evening, you will explore Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in the local markets. Overnight stay will be in the Agra hotel.

Day 04: Agra - Jaipur

You will have your breakfast in Agra and leave for Jaipur. En route, you will be visiting Fatehpur Sikri. It is an abandoned town, built in red sandstone. Built by Mughal emperor Akbar as his capital, it was later deserted when its water supply failed. Arrival in Jaipur in late evening will be followed by a check in at the hotel. Night will be spent sleeping in the hotel rooms.

Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing

Morning will be consumed by a visit to the majestic Amber Fort, along with an elephant ride. In the afternoon, you will visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar (an observatory) and City Palace. Evening will be reserved for exploring the local market of Jaipur. For the night, you will retire to your hotel rooms.

Day 06: Jaipur Sightseeing

On the sixth day, you will continue with the sightseeing tour of the city. The morning will start with a walking tour of some interesting streets and squares of the Pink City. This will provide you with a peek into the life of its people. You will also attend the heart-rending prayers at Sri Govind Devji temple. Afterwards, you may either visit Sanganer town (famous for block printing factories) or have lunch at Samode Palace. In the evening, you will enjoy sunset view of Jaipur from the imposing Nahargarh fort. Night stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07: Jaipur - Ranthambore

In the morning, you will proceed to Ranthambore. After reaching there, you will check in at the hotel. Afternoon will be booked for a jungle safari. Nighttime will be for rest at the hotel.

Day 08: Ranthambore - Kota

Early morning you will go for a jungle safari in the National Park. Later, you will drive down to Kota, a place with untouched wealth of impressive forts, opulent palaces and splendid temples. Upon arrival, you will check into a hotel. After settling down, you will visit the palace and the museum, along with the fort city Bundi. Night stay will be at the hotel in Kota.

Day 09: Kota - Chittorgarh

You will have breakfast in the morning and proceed towards Chittorgarh. It was the capital of former Rajput state of Mewar. On the way, will be a visit to ancient temples of Menal, with exquisite carvings. The route will provide you with a peek into the unspoiled tribal life of Rajasthan. After reaching there, you will check into the hotel. Later, you will visit the Chittor fort, epitomising Rajput chivalry, pride, romance and spirit. Overnight stay will be at the Chittorgarh hotel.

Day 10: Chittorgarh - Dungarpur

After having your breakfast, you will leave for Dungarpur. On arrival, you will be directly taken to the palace still inhabited by the royal family. You will be entertained by the royal family and get to see the royal lifestyle closely. Rest of the day will be free for relaxation. The night stay will be at the hotel in Dungarpur.

Day 11: Dungarpur Sightseeing

The morning will start with a visit to the fascinating Juna Mahal palace. It is filled with many old frescoes and paintings and has impressive mirror work and glass inlays. Afterwards, you will be taking a walk around the town to get a feel of the place. At night, you will be resting at the hotel.

Day 12: Dungarpur - Udaipur

Morning will start with a drive towards Udaipur. First thing on arrival, will be visiting Molela village, famous for its fine terracotta craft. Then, you will be checking in at the hotel. Following later will be a sightseeing tour of the city covering City Palace and Saheliyon ki Bari (garden of the maidens). Evening will be for exploring the Jagdish temple, with its interesting labyrinths. Overnight stay will be at the Udaipur hotel.

Day 13: Udaipur Sightseeing

On this day, you will have the option of either relaxing in the hotel or exploring the nearby Ranakpur Jain temples or Eklingji Shiva temple or Nagda (Jain temple of Adbudji). The sunset time will be for a boat ride on Lake Pichola. At night, you will retire to your hotel rooms.

Day 14: Udaipur - Mumbai

In the morning, you will leave directly for Mumbai, previously Bombay. After reaching Mumbai, you will check into the hotel for the day. Later, you will take a half-day tour of Mumbai, the commercial hub of India. Late evening, you will be escorted to the airport. There, you will catch a flight to your destination.
