Day 1- Delhi
A ceremonial welcome awaits you on the platform at Delhi Safdarjung railway station. Board the train to the sound of musical instruments and a shower of flowers. The train departs and you can enjoy your dinner in the royal ambience on the Palace on Wheels, royal luxury train. Stay overnight on the Palace on Wheels.
Day 2- Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The Pink City has many beautiful monuments, forts and palaces such as the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Amer Fort and City Palace. You can enjoy sightseeing and shopping for exquisite artwork and handicrafts in Jaipur, a marvelous synthesis of heritage and contemporary trends.

Day 3- Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer located on at the beginning of the Thar Desert, is a medieval fortress that has withstood the test of time. The majestic Golden Fort at Jaisalmer is an impressive sight. Other attractions of Jaisalmer are the havelis or mansions, with fine carvings, Jain temples, local handicrafts and sand dunes in the desert.
6- 15 a.m. - Arrive at Jaisalmer. 7:30 a.m. - Breakfast on board. 8:30 a.m.- Depart for sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. 1:00 p.m.- Lunch on board and rest. 5:00 p.m.- Visit the sand dunes and go on a camel safari. 7:30 p.m.- Have dinner and relish the cultural program. 11:00 p.m.- Depart for Jodhpur.
Day 4- Jodhpur
Jodhpur, founded by the Rathore ruler Rao Jodha in 1459, was the capital of Marwar and is a historic city in Rajasthan India. Tourist attractions in Jodhpur include the Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and the Jaswant Thada or royal cenotaphs.
7:30 a.m.- Breakfast served on board. 8:00 a.m.- Arrive at Jodhpur. 8:30 a.m.- Depart for local sightseeing. 1:00 p.m.- Lunch at the Umaid Bhawan Palace. 3:30 p.m.- Depart for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambhore National Park). 8:00 p.m.- Dinner served onboard.
Day 5 - Sawai Madhopur - Chittorgarh
Sawai Madhopur is the town nearest to the Ranthambhor National Park, a famous tiger reserve iand wildlife sanctuary in Rajasthan, India. You can go on an exciting tiger safari in the Ranthambore National Park.
Chittorgarh is a historic destination in Rajasthan, known for having been besieged several times during its history. You can witness the glorious history of Chittorgarh on a tour of its heritage fort and monuments.

Day 6 - Udaipur
Udaipur, or the city of Lakes in Rajasthan was established by Maharana Udai Singh in the 16th century. The palaces set within the azure waters of Lake Pichola are a beautiful sight. Udaipur is also famous for handicrafts and works of art.
6:45 a.m.- Arrive at Udaipur. Breakfast served on board. 7:30 a.m.- Depart for sightseeing of Udaipur. 12:30 p.m.- Lunch at the fabulous Lake Palace Hotel. 8:00 p.m.- Depart for Bharatpur. Dinner served on board.
Day 7 - Bharatpur - Agra
Bharatpur was formerly a princely state in Rajasthan, where the local ruler enclosed a marsh for use as his personal bird hunting reserve. This is today the core of the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or Keoladeo Ghana National Park. You can see many varieties of rare birds in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
6:00 a.m.- Arrive at Bharatpur and visit Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. 8:30 a.m.- Breakfast at the Bharatpur Forest Lodge.
After our bird watching tour, we leave for Fatehpur Sikri and travel 22 kms (14 miles) by air-conditioned coach. Fatehpur Sikri is a city with many grand monuments built in red sandstone. We then proceed to Agra and see the architectural wonder in white marble - the Taj Mahal. We also see Agra Fort and other Mughal monuments in Agra.
10:30 a.m.- Drive to Fatehpur Sikri 1:00 p.m.- Lunch at the Mughal Sheraton Hotel / onboard the train v 1500 a.m.- Sightseeing tour of Agra 8:00 p.m.- Depart for Delhi and dinner on board
Day 8 - Delhi
Return to Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station at 0730 hrs. Enjoy a farewell breakfast on board, and depart with memories of the Palace on Wheels royal luxury train tour.
