After heavy breakfast at hotel proceed to sight seeing tour of New & Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in Asia), Red Fort (built between 1639-48 by the Shah Jahan, the creator of the Taj Mahal), the Rajghat (the cremation site of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi) and Qutab Minar (72m high), the most perfect of towers of the Persian world. After lunch proceed to visit India Gate, Birla Temple, Connaught Place and past Safdarjang's Tomb. Evening transfer to railway station to board train for Bikaner overnight at train.
Day: 3 Bikaner Morning arrive Bikaner & transfer to prebooked hotel for relax. After lunch proceed to visit Junagarh Fort built in 1589-1594 by Raja Rai Singh, one of the trusted Rajput generals of Akbar. Later visit Lalgarh Palace magnificent fort made by red sandstone. Day: 4 Bikaner – Jaisalmer
Today drive to Jaisalmer, the land of the Thar Desert - Jaisalmer is one of the India's most precious jewels. Fortified in golden stone, it rises like a mirage from the barren Thar desert of Rajasthan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later visit Sam Village for sand dunes. Enjoy a short camel ride at sand dunes followed by an evening dinner with Kalbeliya dancers performing the native folk dances. Overnight at Hotel.
Day: 5 Jaisalmer
After breakfast visiting Jaisalmer Fort -- an awesome figure rising above the city and overlooking the vast expanse of desert. Jaisalmer fort was built in 1156 & is the second oldest fort in Rajasthan. It is also called the living fort with people still living inside the fort. Later take a walk through the narrow streets and visit the famous havelis (mansions) of Jaisalmer. Some of them being Nathmalji-ki-Haveli , Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli – this 300 years old Haveli is famous for many ancient artifacts and excellent latticework on the walls. Day: 6 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur- The second largest city of Rajasthan, on the edge of the great Thar Desert. Arrive Jodhpur check in at hotel later proceed to visit Mehrangarh Fort founded in 15th century by the Rathore Rajputs when they shifted their capital from nearby Mandore to Jodhpur. Later visit Jaswant Thada - located half way up the interminably
long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. After breakfast check out and drive for Bharatpur which is also known as 'Keoladeo National Park'. In winters it plays host to over 400 bird species including the world-famous Siberian Cranes. Day: 14 Agra - Varanasi
Early morning visit world famous “Taj Mahal” in sunrise time. Later come back hotel after breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque and the Hall of Public and Private Audience.Visit Itmad-up-Dau’s tomb, built by Noorjehan in memory of her father.
